AHTCS Celebrates 25th Anniversary with Three-Day Event Series
Animal Health Training and Consultancy Services (AHTCS) recently celebrated its 25th anniversary with a series of three meaningful events. These activities were designed to raise awareness on important issues like public health, animal welfare, and community service, and they brought people together to learn and make a positive impact.
Day 1: Rabies Awareness Program
The celebration began on January 22, 2025, with the Rabies Awareness Program at Tarakunj Secondary School and Sitaldevi Community Secondary School in Pokhara. The sessions included interactive presentations and discussions, educating students about rabies prevention, symptoms, and the importance of vaccination. Informative materials were distributed to empower students to protect themselves and spread awareness in their communities.
Day 2: Blood Donation Camp
On January 23, AHTCS hosted a blood donation camp at Matepani-12, Pokhara, in partnership with the Nepal Red Cross Society, Kaski. The event saw a wonderful turnout from the local community, with many people coming forward to donate blood. This act of kindness and community spirit was a reminder of how we can all make a difference in the lives of others by helping those in need.
Day 3: 25th Anniversary Celebration
The final day, January 24, was dedicated to celebrating AHTCS’s 25 years of service and progress. The anniversary event was held in Pokhara-13, Arba, and was attended by members of the AHTCS executive committee, former staff, volunteers, and special guests. The celebration was a chance to reflect on the organization’s journey, its accomplishments, and its ongoing work in promoting animal health and public welfare. Mr. Shiva Kumar Pradhan, the chairperson, led the event, which focused on AHTCS’s continued commitment to helping both people and animals.
AHTCS would like to express its sincere thanks to everyone who took part in the events and supported the organization. Looking forward, AHTCS is more determined than ever to continue its mission: “Helping People to Make a Difference.”
